I really should come up with a name for Trigona’s flamethrower… something like “the Bearcinerator” but less awful.
You won. Congratulations.
All great suggestions – The Ursinerator is my favorite so far, but “Clive” has a certain ring to it as well.
obvi “clive the ursinerator” then.
This is, if i’m not mistaken, the first time they’ve ever acknowledged how they get killed all the time.. are we going to get an explanation as to how they’d survive but a normal person wouldn’t?
They do have regenerative powers – one of the old strips was just one of the Sciencemen’s hands growing back.
I would’ve thought it’d be so much funnier if it went unexplained. Usually leaving things unexplained actually helps them.
Well, at least it quite often does.
Obviously the “ursinerator” is the best name…
oh look, someone thought of it. good.
a name submitted for your consideration the concept of reality where everyone has there own wepon of mass destruction pitted against each other in single gladiatorial combat the winner gets the losers weapon and the loser loses there life* Twilight Zone music starts up*
i pick the name- Satan’s Revenge
… Clive the Bearheaded Burnstick?
… Flamethrower with bearhead on it.
I was gonna suggest “The Urscinerator” too. It’s basically the best possible name.
That or Glenn.
They should compromise and just mass produce bear-headed flamethrowers instead.
Then they’d need to hire a bearkeeper to provide all the heads.
Hmmm… forget I just said that.
And once they have a steady supply of bears, it would inevitably occur to them to construct a bear-powered robot.
better yet a bear made out of power
or a bee made out of bears.
I see a bunch of folks beat me to the Ursinerator punch, so here’s a few suggestions for cute nicknames Trigona might give it.
Oh God. I love this comic.
I’ll go with Smokey the Bear… well it seems ironic that Smokey tends to stop forest fires but this one start ’em XD
