Scratch that. Something is terribly wrong BECAUSE Beeserker is the voice of reason in the comic. Probably.

Robot God, the entity featured in one strip in a feeble effort to actually include the titular character of the comic before it was actually created, gets a shout-out today from the comic’s newest creation, who is 28% bigger than the previous robot (a measurement based solely on arm stripes).

Half of the effort I put into writing today’s comic was figuring out a decent onomatopoeia for duct tape being unraveled.

If all goes according to plan, Beeserkest will be activated soon. Of course, what are the odds of something going according to plan?

In other news, a while back, I made a guest comic for Robbie and Bobby. A shorter while back, a book was printed of it. An even shorter while back, author Jason Poland was kind enough to send me a copy, as well as a veritable care package of other R&B stuff, including a previous book of some of the older strips (which can easily fit in a small purse or a large pocket), a hand-drawn Bobby sticker, and some buttons (which came in a Disney princesses Ziploc bag).

The book looks great, and the comics have whimsy out the ass (120+ pages worth of it). Plus, that guest comic I made is in it, making this the first time that I’ve been published on something that isn’t newsprint, which is pretty cool. You can buy the book here, and for a few dollars more, you can also get the aforementioned tinybook and an original sketch, such as this awesome one that came in mine.

P.S.: That Robbie button is neat, but my Beeserker button could totally kick its ass.

Let me just say, you all had some awesome suggestions for Beeserker’s robot’s name, but this comic, more than anything, is about making terrible decisions. Thus, it is now the Beeserkest (to ensure continuity with the last few strips, need I remind you that being beeserk isn’t necessarily a good thing).

I just realized that I haven’t been putting the leaves in the Sciencemen’s mint juleps. Anyway, I’m going to reveal the name of Beeserker’s creation on Tuesday… or whenever the hell the next strip is.

You know, it’s really easy to accidentally say “body” in a really creepy way.

It takes a lot less time to build a robot when you’re not adopting stray cats and getting your hands shot off.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve teased the idea of Beeserker building a robot itself, but this time it’s actually happening.

Maybe.

I spent so long trying to resolve that thing where Scootsie was hanging out in robot heads that I forgot that it was a result of Beeserker learning how to build robots, which is marginally more interesting.
