If memory serves me correctly, this is the first time in the comic that one of the Sciencemen is referred to by the color-coded nicknames I use in this blog area sometimes.
This week I’ve been toying around with the idea of doing the lineart for this comic on bristol board instead of the usual 100% digital method that I’ve been using the last year and a half. I’m toying around with some new pens, and you can see some of those sketches at BTI (if you’re reading this a couple of weeks from now, they’re probably not on that main page… or maybe I’ll be in another state of perpetually posting concept art, like I was in the month or two before the comic started, in which case you’ll probably be tired of it by now… by then… damn, in the time it took me to confuse myself with hypothetical futures, I could’ve just posted the permalinks to the sketches I already made).
A mess of a lab that is FULL OF BRIGHT RED RACCOONS. What lab is not improved by the addition of raccoons? SO CUTE.
Hopefully some of them will poke at all the stuff in the messy lab while the Sciencemen are out being heroic and there will be RACCOON PROBLEMS to handle.

In the computer game Kyatt made for the comic, it’s confirmed that they’re raccoons. (Probably was posted after you made this comment though. [whatever. {I like using these squiggly brackets whenever I have the chance!}])
